"the fly" by william blake

the poem "the Fly" is a great poem. it has a lot of great meaning and is fun to read and analyze. the diction is simple and fun. i believe this poem represents a questioning of the difference between a human and a fly. in the first stanza the speakers swats away a fly that shows how careless a human is to a fly. as the poem goes on to talk about death and why when someone carelessly swats a fly they dont think twice about it but when a human dies it is very sad and people cry and mourn.
